Supporting Pupils with EAL
Sunnyhill’s pupils are at the core of everything that we do, we aim to focus on developing collaboration, creativity, consistency and quality in all aspects of our provision.
We have high expectations of all our pupils . At Sunnyhill Primary School we recognise bilingualism as strength and that every child in the school has a valuable contribution to make. We take a whole school approach to teaching and supporting EAL pupils.
GOOD EAL teaching strategies are effective, good practice for all children.
Sunnyhill Primary School values the individuality of all children. We are committed to giving all of our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards. We do this by taking account of pupils’ varied life experiences and needs.
We are proud to have a school which is enriched by the diversity of cultures and languages of our staff, pupils and families.
