Reception to Year 6 Admissions

Reception and other Year Group admissions are managed by Lambeth Council. Please see the Lambeth website via this link Applying for a school place explaining how to apply for a school place.

To apply please visit the eAdmissions website and complete the Common Application Form.

If you can't apply online, there will be a very limited amount of paper Common Application Forms (CAFs) for applying to a primary school place. These are only for use in previously agreed exceptional circumstances.

Completed forms will need to be submitted to Lambeth School Admissions Team with the required proof of address and date of birth documentation; For a list of accepted documents see page 5 and 6 in the Starting primary school in Lambeth 2023/24 booklet. Applications received without all the required proof of address documents for the parents/carers and child may result in the child’s application being withdrawn if the address cannot be verified. This means that your child will not receive an offer of a school place on 17 April 2023. These items can be sent by post, by email or via scanning facilities in the Lambeth Customer Centre. You will need an appointment for the latter.

If you choose to send your application by post, you must use the correct postage and send it to:

Lambeth School Admissions Team
London Borough of Lambeth
PO Box 734
S023 5DG

Please Note: Applications for a school place are made directly to the local authority in which you live.

Online applications can be made from 1st September 2022 and are free, secure and available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and you will receive the outcome on the National Offer Day, 17th April 2022 (before you receive your letter) simply by logging on to the eAdmissions portal.  You will also receive an outcome letter.  The deadline to apply for Reception place is 15th January.

If your child is already at Primary School, you must complete a In-Year Transfer Form with their current school.

Once you have applied for a school place, the waiting list is held and managed by Lambeth School Admissions Team. To speak to the Admissions Team or to find out where you are on the waiting list, please call 020 7926 9503, or visit the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Olive Morris House, 18 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RL.
