Reception to Year 6 Admissions
Reception and other Year Group admissions are managed by Lambeth Council.
To apply please visit the eAdmissions website directly from the link below and complete the application, or complete paper form, the Common Application Form, and return it to:
- by hand to: Lambeth Customer Service Centre (Brixton) - Olive Morris House
- or, post it to: Lambeth School Admissions Team 10th Floor, International House Canterbury Crescent London SW9 7QE.
You need to attach the correct proof of address documents to your application, otherwise your child’s application may be withdrawn and no offer made at a school. For a list of accepted documents see page 7 and 8 in the Starting primary school in Lambeth 2020/21 booklet.
Please Note: Applications for a school place are made directly to the local authority in which you live.
Online applications can be made from 1st September 2019 and are free, secure and available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and you will receive the outcome on the National Offer Day, 15th April (before you receive your letter) simply by logging on to the eAdmissions portal. You will also receive an outcome letter. The deadline to apply for Reception place is 15th January.
If your child is already at Primary School, you must complete an In-Year Transfer Form with their current school.
Once you have applied for a school place, the waiting list is held and managed by Lambeth School Admissions Team. Nursery Admissions are managed by the school.
We offer 15 full time places for *eligible parents and 40 part-time places split Mon-Wed and Wed-Fri.
* To check if you are eligible for full time childcare please go to https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare. If you are, you’ll get a childcare account and a DERN code, which you have to provide on your application together with you National Insurance Number. PLEASE NOTE: You must confirm your details every 3 months, otherwise your code will expire and you may lose your full time place.
Nursery Applications must be submitted directly to the school office along with the required supporting documents confirming your child’s identity, date of birth and address. Incomplete forms won’t be processed. The deadline to apply for Nursery place is 31st March.
Criterion 1: Looked After Children
Priority will be given to Looked After Children and previously Looked After Children. Previously looked after children are children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were A looked after child means a person under the age of 18 years who is provided by social services with accommodation by agreement with their parents/carers or who is the subject of a care order.
Criterion 2: Siblings
Children with a brother or sister who already attends the school, and who will not have left the school at the time of admission.
Criterion 3: Children with Exceptional
Medical or Social Needs Children with a professionally supported medical or social need, whose application identifies a particular school that is especially able to meet that need.
Criterion 4: Children of staff at the school
Applications for children of staff at the school. A member of staff must be employed by the school as a teaching assistant or qualified teacher and this employment must have been for at least 3 years at the time of submitting the application
Criterion 5: Distance
Priority will be given on the basis of distance between the child’s home and the school, measured by walking distance.
