Pupil Leaders
At Sunnyhill we believe that the children should be at the heart of everything we do. That starts with giving them a voice and enabling them to have a tangible impact on their environment.
Every child at Sunnyhill, from Nursery to Year 6, has the opportunity to have a say in their learning and environment by submitting sensible suggestions every long term, to our School council.
To ensure every child is heard, we have a member of staff dedicated to training, supporting and facilitating the pupil voice teams. Currently, a quarter of pupils are enrolled in a pupil leadership role.
These roles are:
Green Team
Refill at Sunnyhill - February ‘26
On 26th February, the Green Team opened their first eco-refill shop ‘Refill at Sunnyhill’. They chose the name of their shop, decided on their products and came up with the business plan. They were really happy to serve their first customers and are looking forward to their next opening date in March.
