Sunnyhill Schools two year ‘Young Amplify’ project with the Children’s Commissioner for England 

Peer mediators at Sunnyhill School were part of a group of schools that worked with the ‘Children’s Commissioner for England’ on a project to collect the views of children. The Children’s Commissioner role was created to ‘ensure all children grow up happy and healthy and have the best chance in life’.

A ‘Young Amplify’ project was started two years ago so that the Children’s Commissioner could better understand ‘what matters to children’. Children took part in 6 workshops and shared their views on a range of issues that were important to them.
